Picked up a bunch of old spindles the other day. A couple of them appear to be engraved with the word "Rewax" and "MO" on both ends of the spindle. A search of the archives turned up one match for Rewax and it was from a list member selling a Rewax spindle quite some time ago.
This Rewax spindle is a cottered spindle. My questions would be: Approximately what years were these spindles manufactured from/thru? And also, is Rewax a French made spindle?
Next spindle is a chromed "Lightrace" (also cottered) which is made in France. A search of the archives turned up one post (again of a list member selling said item) and he described it as being "from the 60's." Anyone know anything further about Lightrace cottered spindles?
