How about L'Eroica in the Texas Wine Country --Sisterdale Vineyard to Lueckenbach to Becker Vineyards to Fredericksburg to Bell Mtn. Vineyard to Llano (Fall Creek Vineyard) and Enchanted Rock State Park to Inks Lake State Park to Spicwood Vineyard. It's a central location so Dallas, Austin,Houston, San Antonio could attend. The fire roads in the surrounding hills are fun on a mtn bike, but may be a bit much for the old road bikes, even if its supposed to be a sufferfest.
