Interesting you would mention this. I was ruminating this morning on the "Can a better KOF frame be bought?" topic, in which I had taken issue with the idea of a Finest Bike standard, and I thought, well, what would be my Dream bikes (a different standard than the Finest)? I came up with a stable of four: My first, current and true love ('78 Kvale), Vintage Velos' 1954 Masi, the Calfee Bamboo pro (for imagination, style and audacity) and the Specialized Roubaix. I rented the Roubaix this summer in Bellingham, Washington and loved it for about 100 miles of riding. So let's see in 20 years whether an NOS Roubaix would be on-topic and what kind of interest it would draw!
