Subject: [CR]Reynolds Speedstream

Hello Wyndham, I know little about it. I found a Holdsworth built with it a few years back. It was built in the 'Comp shop' in 1982. I had it resprayed by Mario Vaz who used to work there and remembered them being made. He had some orig transfers for it. I had to wait another 5 years to obtain a Reynolds Tubing sticker. This was a repro made for Argos who were respraying a customers frame built with 531 Speedstream. It was mandrelled ovalised 531. My frame is lugless except for the seat lug. The seat tube is oval from the bracket to within a few inches of the top. Downtube is oval too. Unfortunately my frame came with no forks so I have used a pair of chrome Tanges. It is in orange with blue transfers and looks rather smart on blue Mavic SSC's. Campag C-record and Delta brakes. I would like a blue Turbo saddle for it. Hope this helps.
