It's OK Karl, when you are excommmunicated from the One True Church of cycling for questionning the infallibility of the divine Tullio, you can join us other heretics in the outlaw Francophile sect.

Yes. that divine entity that we thought was incapable of no wrong, has sinned. Still, I forgive because of my deep devotion and love.

So, what was the wrong doing? Well, back in about 1978, in Campagnolo catalog #18, which I consulted while rebuilding Superleggerri pista pedals, I noticed that the spindles are incorrectly displayed, so that the water extracting threads are reversed (Oh my!!! I hope that this won't cause a flood of biblical proportion). The "S" as stamped on the wrench flat is shown to be the right side pedal and "D" is shown to be the left pedal which is contrary to the facts. The "good book" is incorrect.

"OK, OK, so what" (you may be thinking)! I admit, I feel guilty in pointing out even the smallest deviation from the absolute diviness that our God is and the greatness he has shared. Again, I am weak and Tullio is strong. Please forgive me oh greatness. Blessed be our God Campagnolo. I will say thirty-six hail Tullios in repentance with my greasy rosery chain.

Please spare this little sinner, oh great one from an eternal death in a pit of burning carbon fibre.

Your humble servant, Carl Kamenzind West Seattle, WA USA
