Well - the frame probably doesn't even have a decal from the tubing manufacturer. That should tell you how important that sort of thing is to Richard - other than using what he would consider to be the best material for the task at hand.

But I guarantee he used good stuff on this frame. (I think I can make that statement without even first consulting with Richard.)
