I haven't used it, I was just quoting what was stated on the instructions included with a Woolistics jersey I received for Christmas. I think it referred to "Ivory Snow flakes". Perhaps that's a different product from Ivory Snow Detergent. I noticed there is also a Woolite product for use in machine washing. Anyone have an opinion of that?

In reference to cleaning, I note that Woolistics (Alex Clarke) recommends Ivory Snow for washing their wool jerseys. Supposedly Ivory Snow is pretty much pure soap flakes, with no detergents and enzymes like those found in leading detergents.

Sorry Jerry, Here is the NIH listing for Ivory Snow Laundry DETERGENT Powder from their household products database. 11 ingredients listed, the second being enzyme. All P&G claims is that it rinses out better than other products.

Sorry to burst your (soap) bubbles. How about woolite?
