I'm not sure why any of this even matters - but I've never heard anyone say anything definitive that Alex Singer was actually Jewish - except for the issue that he had to spend some time hiding during WW2. If I wasn't Jewish and I had the name Singer, I'd probably have been hiding too.
Does anyone have any more info? From what I understand, Ernest has been of little help on this topic.
