Subject: [CR]WAS - WANTED - Chrome Fork - NOW I have one

First, thanks to all those that responded to my request for a fork. There were enough offers that I had a hard time keeping up with replying in a timely fashion. My apologies for that. I now have an NOS fork that fits the intended use perfectly.

Second, I'd like to publicly thank my benefactor, Phil Brown. Not only was the fork just what I needed, it was offered at a very reasonable price. And to top it all off, Phil custom made a wood flake-board box to ship it in. No way that fork was going to arrive in anything other than pristine, untouched condition. I don't think anything short of high explosives could have caused damage. That beats any damage insurance you can buy! Thanks Phil!

Is this a great community, or what!
