Bob and Jim,

I have build lists both written by me, and given to me by Kirkbride in his hand-writing, from first quarter of '84 and thru the 80s. I don't know when Kirkbride became the administrator of build-records from the onset of Masi, I'd think during the Faliero days, Roland Sahm's manager would have generated the numbers, I mean, Kirkbride wasn't relaying the build lots to Faliero & Mario, right? Nevertheless, sales dictated production, so as for me, Kirkbride had me build GCs and 3Vs in batches of one, five, 10, 15 or 20, and my contribution to the numbering system was to stamp the numbers as straight across and as evenly spaced as I could, and then the frame was done; Kirkbride said when you're in a bicycle race, to never allow yourself to slack off at the crest of the hill.
