Dear CR list members, After spending too much time hand wringing and brooding over the subject, (2ish years) I have decided to sell my '83 Rossin Record SL. Granted, it is not the big name of a Colnago or Masi but it is a fine riding I-tie machine and is in very, very nice condition. I have owned it since new. I am going to offer it to the group first and later put it on the local Craig list but I have too many concerns about fraud and wasting what little free time I have to work it on eBay.

Description as follows: 1983 Rossin Record, 54 cm c-c. Columbus SL frame, chrome fork with sloping crown, chrome chain stay. Custom repaint with original factory decals completed in '89. Done in colors of May 1984 Rossin calendar to match decals. This is a dark pink base with light blue metal flake in the top clear coat. It is beautiful in a little sunlight and I have a bit of touch up paint for it too. Campy SR hubs, 36 hole, early aero rims, Araya front, Matrix iso rear, DT double butted spokes 3 cross, Campy SR bottom bracket, seat post, brakes, front derailleur, and seat binder bolt. Newer Croce d'Aune crank set 42-53, rear derailleur and down tube shifters (I believe the shifters are the same as the C-record) with little ride time on them. Cinelli 1-A 110mm stem, Cinelli 64-40 bars, Bernard Hinhault roller bearing headset, (yes after 2 Campy headsets I got tired of detent steering), Dura Ace cable less brake levers, late '80s Vetta seat. Like new Regina CX 14-21 6-speed freewheel and like new CX chain. These were installed sometime in '89 and have seen very low mileage. New, 1 year old Vittoria Corsa CX tires mounted and freshly glued. I did commit the error of purchasing all black CXs. My bad.

Sale to include original black & silver Silca pump with a Campy head, an original wool, flocked, meaning stitched on black letters, Rossin size 4 men's jersey in a matching redish/pink and white stripe color (no kidding), original bill of sale, remainder of the 1984 Rossin calendar, 2 pair of pedals, one Campy road pedals that are worn & scarred but workable, no toe clips and one pair of mid eighties Shimano clip less pedals, an extra Regina 6-speed 13-18 America freewheel in the can and the mounted water bottle cage.

Bike is in excellent condition and has been hanging in the basement for the last 16 years and ridden maybe 10 times in those years. I rode it once last year, once the year before and cannot remember the time before that. I believe that someone who would use, love and appreciate the machine as I once did should have it. It is located in the Denver, Colorado metro area. Asking $950 for all items included.

I should have some sort of webhost to store pictures but I apologize, I do not. So I will send a batch of pictures of all items available off line to anyone interested and can answer any questions, of course.
