Other examples are those films about how the Yanks drove the Japs out of Burma (when actually they weren't even players there) how William Wallace was a hero (when he was really a minor renegade with quite an unsavoury personality) and how evil the British Empire was (when it was probably an even-greater civilising influence than was the Roman Empire, bringing peace and the rule of law to over a quarter of the peoples of the world)
Oh-oh - now who's being biased?
Cheers Vic

Vic and Ray Well done the pair of you in picking up the inaccurate comments from the Mick Butler "history lesson" . To me its nothing new coming from him , past CR history has shown this has happened time after time from the keyboard of MB. I've always believed and explained to others one should only read between the lines in his reports. The time comes when ,and he is not the only one, get to a stage when they do'nt really know the full facts but resort to making it up plus their because their ego they're are just showing off. Being the bigboy , know- it -all and leading people on by giving the wrong facts.! Easy to copy from books and the like I suppose.
Hope you are both OK ,
Best wishes
