I have a set of each, in high-flange version. The hubs look superficially similar, with both having similar black plastic-coated dustcaps, etc., however, if you look closely nothing is exactly the same, ergo :

- pelissier hubs - both front and rear - are ~1mm wider than maillard 700 - slant of outside left rear barrel tapers faster on maillard 700 than peilissier - pelissier has larger drill-out holes than maillard 700, to edge of lip - pelissier black dustcaps are inset with silver aluminum around them; maillard dust caps extend all the way over the aluminum to outer shell - most visible difference : pelissier front has squarish boxy taper between the flanges, where maillard 700 is much more rounded / bulbous.

I was told that 'P1001' skewers belong with my pelissier hubs, and these are the type that i procured for the shells that i was able to get. I am running shimano-type M10x1.0 axle sets in mine.
