Howdy folks.
I just bought what I am pretty sure is a 1980 Bruce Gordon from Mr. Deeter. I am probably going to build it up with OT stuff since it has already been repainted and had at least a bit of modification (drilled for recessed brakes). There are a few things that I'm not sure if they are changes or original, so I am seeking opinions from folks with BG knowledge from around 1980. It has seat tube bottle cage mounts that I think were probably added, but they look exactly like the down tube ones that should be original. It also has round pump "peg" on the head tube that would only make sense if it was added when the cage mount was added or if it is all original. Last of all, what rear spacing would be mostly likely? It is 126mm now and I was assuming that was probably original since my brother has a 1978 Gitane and an ~1981 Bianchi that are both 126mm OLD. Thanks in advance :^)
