Subject: [CR]Dura Ace AX front derailleur question

Hi all,

I've got an unusual challenge. I've been acquiring Shimano Dura Ace AX parts to build up a particular frame. It was recently brought to my attention that the braze on AX front derailleur is designed to work with its own matching unique braze-on bracket that incorporates a special cable guide. See here:

The frame I'm planning to use has a standard front derailleur braze-on. Have any of you successfully installed an AX braze-on front derailleur with a standard braze-on bracket? Can you provide guidance about how to make this work? Or is it hopeless and should I use a different front derailleur?

Thanks!

David
