Subject: [CR]Crimped Colnago made by whom??

I don't remember seeing any crimped Colnagos before I saw my first crimped Picchio back in about 1981. Far nicer than any Colnago made by that week,s frame factory. I thought Colnagos to be almost random through those years as to which chainstay (stamped or not) which fork crown, where chrome, if Mexico had actual KL tubing or just the decals. A more interesting question would be who built his bikes during different time periods. And which importer they came into USA through. Now that he has had an actual factory for a few years to make many of his 10,000 frame annually I find it all academic as the frames are still made by many ?? and are a only a fancy paint job compared to the late 70s units. Which is why I ride only Pegorettis since 1996 as I know who built my frame....plus he is kooky and Italian.
