Kevin,

These are measured weights for SSC rims:

Blue SSC (later label) - 36 holes 389 grams Blue SSC (early label) - 36 holes 400 grams Silver SSC (later label)- 36 holes 389 grams Grey SSC (early label) - 32 holes 406 grams Grey SSC (early label) - 36 holes 407 grams

Measured weights for other Mavic rims:

Monthlery Leggere - 36 holes 336 grams (I have a 32 hole pair but I'm not digging them out to weigh) Record du Monde de l'Heure (gold) - 32 holes 336 grams

All rims were NOS when weighed on a digital shipping scale calibrated semi-annually to weights approved by the Kentucky Bureau of Weights and Measures. Calibration certification is available for one case of cold Heineken and a large bag of Cheetos, puffed not crunchy.

For what it's worth, Fiamme Ergals - 32 holes are 290 grams and have never spontaneously exploded while I've ridden them.

I have some Monthlery Pros at home. I'll bring them in on Monday and weigh them too as long as we don't get into that tired old "Monthlery vs Montherley" thread
