Subject: [CR]Mavic RD 610 Bearings

Jim,

There two other things you can do about the bearings in your Mavic RD 610 BB. The first would be to take a set of measurements from the bearings and email an inquiry to the folks at Boca Bearings inc. http://www.bocabearings.com . These people claim to have the best inventory of bearings in the world. The second thing that I would do just from a maintenance standpoint is to remove the seals on each cartridge unit (both sides) and flush the units with Dumonde Tech's Original Lite.( http://www.hgnr.com ) After I had done this I would return one side's set of seals and re lubricate with Dumonde Tech's Liquid Grease. Then replace the second set of seals, install back in the BB and then install the BB back into the Emperor Bike and ride away.

Cheers,
Peter
