All

thought you might be curious in how my experiment in selling parts on a non - first reply basis went.

One thing that I had not anticipated was the interest in the Italian threaded Pista headset. Fully eight individuals expressed an interest in this. The washer with engraving on the side is apparently fairly rare. It is about 3 mm thick and is engraved 'Campagnolo Patent Italy Campagnolo Patent Italy ' on the edge. Two listmembers offered substantially more than my price for the headset. I will not reveal whether or not I succumbed to the enticement of filthy lucre.

Four folks wanted the Campy crank cover caps Four wanted the Campy pista pedals One person wanted the used Campy Italian Pista BB One wanted the Cinelli road stem

On the items with multiple interest, I randomly selected a "winner" from those who stated what they needed the part for. If they have changed their mind or don't pay up, I will offer to someone else.

Not sure I will do it this way next time...
