I'm no expert but it certainly looks like the real deal to me. All the lug cut outs, the fast back stays.....all say "Cinelli" to me.

You're right about Cinelli serial numbers. They were all over the place. At least the early ones were.

The seller thinks it's a Cinelli, as the lugs and track ends would suggest, but from what I understand other manufacturers were building with Cinelli parts during the 70s. Is there really any way to tell? A serial # is mentioned in the questions, but again, I've been told that this doesn't help much as many Italian builders were a bit negligent with their records. Regardless, this frame needs love...
