Back in the early '90s a guy was going from bike shop to bike shop in the LA area trying to sell his old bike without success... nobody wanted a bike that didn't index or didn't have clipless pedals by then. The guy was really grateful when I said I'd buy his old bike. A 1979 Bianchi Superleggera, very, very nice condition with full pantographing and Celeste leather covered bars for $200. The bike was featured in Jim Langley's monthly "Way Back Machine" column in Bicycling magazine.
