This isn't quite a dumpster find, but it made my winter.
Following up on a tip that a taller friend of mine passed on to me last week, I was able to get a fully Campagnolo equipped Bob Jackson - 531c, with only a minor cosmetic issue, (just the right size too) for $100.00. It's a few years past the cutoff, but is traditional lugged steel with friction shifting - what I think most would consider KOF.
I changed the tubes, and am just waiting for riding weather to come to these parts. Unfortunately, it seems that the little groundhog was mistaken. :(
