list, while i like the look of those paselas on a rim they are really neat... the ride is somewhat ''dour'' [Irishism] or in your parlance... a dead feel... i much prefer Conti gatorskins they may not look like a period tyre but hey. they ride a treat. and available wired or folding for E4 type rims . willie carton COLERAINE N. IRELAND

My SEKAI 2500 with the Sekai Deluxe 27x1 1/8 tires (290 grams) probably were Panaracer ~ the equivalent of Paselas, the weights matched my SEKAI tires (recommended in Bicycling! magazine 1977.)

I bought some 27x1 paselas for my paramount / sekai restoration. Only panaracer makes 27x1 tires these days, and they have gumwall sides! GET THEM WHILE THEY ARE STILL AVAILABLE!! Kudos to Sheldon for carrying Paselas in 27x1, they are hard to find, 270 grams, wired-on, FAST tires.
