But of course! After all, if you're wearing your club jersey - and get passed - don't you speed up in order to defend the club's honor?

The real problem is that yellow jerseys are popular due to their high visibility. I suppose if it says "Le Crédit Lyonnais" on the chest, that's another story. I assure you though, when I'm out in my polka dot jersey, I really do defend its honor to the point of exhaustion.
