Subject: [CR]RE: Tom's Ride & Bike Florida

I will be at Bike Florida again this year providing all the mechanical support for them. Come by and see me and say hello..

SNIP< One more time I have to miss Tom's ride! Rats!!! Unfortunately, ;^) I'll still be in Florida in the WARM temps having just finished Bike Florida on my Raleigh Pro (classic content), seven WARM days of riding in March. Speaking of which, will there be any other CR folks doing this ride? It's a flat one, but it'll get a jump start on the season.

And Tom, I'll save that quote: "... but I've got a puritanical streak that says suffering is good for the soul." when I host our vintage ride North of Baltimore in July, hopefully during the mountain stages of the Tour. The local racers roar up and down the hills around Parkton, but some people (me for one) like to have some kind of bailout gear.

And I did my first training ride yesterday, abbreviated by rain, where I nearly died with my 42x26 low shaking down the Raleigh Pro. Wish I could make it to Tom's ride too.
