Subject: [CR]Re: Pictures fron the race to NAHBS

Just wanted to follow-up on the email with the pictures from the NAHMBS race I linked to yesterday. I was not the photographer, and I apologize if I gave that impression. The pictures were taken by Susan Burdick.

A few folks asked about technical details of the shoot, so here they are:

The camera was a Contax 645 with a Phase One P45 (39 megapixel) back. The lighting was was all natural (no fill-flash as I mistakenly told a few members offline). The pictures were taken under a sun tent, with white silk draped between the backs of the subjects and the sun. The camera was on a tripod and focus and exposure were set manually.

Thanks to all who responded with questions and comments, and maybe the Portland members might start thinking about a similar event for next year?
