FS: Richard Sachs #18 (1975) _____
I am selling My Richard Sachs #18 which is one of the earliest works of the master artisan. I bought this as a frameset in 2003 and was repainted by JB in original rose gold. The parts I put then were all brand new vintage Campagnolo parts sourced from the collection of Richard Sachs and some from Campy Oldy. The used parts that were put are in excellent condition like the 1974 Nuovo Record rear derrailleur, Nuovo Record pedals and headset. All the parts show very minimal use. The paint of the frameset is excellent, no scratches or dings. I have used this bike the most, 20 miles. I am based in Manila but I will traveling to San Diego from April 20 -27. I can ship it from there. For protection, I have a Trico hard case that I am willing to lend to ship the bike out to the lucky new owner. The case will just have to be shipped back to San Diego at the new owner's expense. When this is purchased I will turn over a written certification from Richard Sachs attesting to the provenance of the bike as well as the original boxes of the parts as souvenir. Medallion Kusuki high polished stem and if you want a period correct
handlebar, I have a nice condition old logo Cinelli Crest Mod Giro
DItalia with Olympic wreath 64-38 cm, no groove. I also have an
Ambrosio Elite 19 clincher black rims 700 C, if you prefer these over
the chrome 27 rims but I think the chrome nisi rims are a lot more
elegant.
