No, I have not modified anything on it. I also have no idea what the actual model you are referring to, but i have a fairly old Hermes engraver. It is a beautiful pantographer with lots of brass parts and black wrinkle finish. It is hinge mounted on a table which allows x-y shifts for the clamping devices which secures the blank and the tracing brass letters. If you want the model number or pictures, i can get it for you.
