I used to know a guy named Chick Mead, from southeastern Massachusetts. He was very active in AYH if memory serves, and he used to mount a rubber bulb horn under the top tube, which he would operate by squeezing his knees together.

I recall that he was a Jack Taylor fan, and, seeing that this bike is offered from Marion, Massachusetts, my guess is that it's one of his.

Chick also was somewhat noted for a roof-top bike rack for cars that he designed.
