Nice job Steve, i tried a set a couple of months ago with mediocre results compared to yours. It did get me thinking about maintaining even spacing and straight stitching, and thought that a possibility would be 'pre-drilling' the holes with an unthreaded sewing machine and set with a longer stitch length. I have an industrial machine, but most
of the softer leathers i use for upholstery can be drilled with a home
machine.
