Hello David,

Try a crumpling up a small piece of aluminum foil to the desired size. Then carefully etch the rust away with pinpoint accuracy. Try this technique in an inconspicuous place first. I learned about using aluminum foil as an excellent rust remover from a List Member who's name escapes me.

Has anyone removed this kind of superficial rusty dirt without harming the paint underneath? What did you use? Thanks David Feldman Vancouver, WA
