Jeff et al -- I left a few bikes in the "cave" (cellar) of our little house in France... walls are damp (good for wine, I guess) and dirt floor. In 6 months I was amazed that not only were the steel parts affected, but the alloy ones as well... Needless to say, R. Geminiani spends his time inside the heated space when we are gone...
