Could it be that the builder discovered that the TT would not be level, and adjusted the fork bend to get desired geometry anyway? If so, then Doug's angles relative to earth are the ones to be used rather than his angles relative to TT.

As they say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, or riding in this case. If that guy in Verona built his frames that same way time after time and the feedback of how the bike rode was always positive, then what? My opinion is that your bike, the way it turned out "errors" and all, is what the builder "intended."
