Nonetheless, I found myself rather struck by the hype, which might be inadvertent:

"Schwinn Le Tour 10-speed, probably from the early 1970s. It is about 62 cm with a 35-1/2 inch standover so it would be ideal for a taller rider. This was the era when Panasonic built Schwinn's high-end road bikes. Some say these were among the best road bikes of the era. This Le Tour is near-perfect; the chrome and all the mechanicals look new. Tires and tubes are new and the wheels have been trued. Properly maintained, this bike will definitely appreciate in value."

Shame it's not a 23" Volare! But, as it is, looks like a fine commuter bike.
