I haven't been following this conversation too closely, so at the risk of repeating something that may have already been said....
A little heat works wonders with frozen nipples. The nipples I have to unstick are much older than most of what you guys would be doing. You do run the risk of marring the finish.
If you must do it without heat, I'd try PB Blaster and reapply for days before you try to loosen the spokes..

Firstly , Mark is talking mostly about frozen nipples on spokes.
There is no screwdriver that will hold the slot and undo a frozen spoke.
You might be able to whack the nipple with a small hammer and another hammer
or weight mass opposite to shock/crack corrosion loose.
Or you might loosen them with some fluid to loosen the rust .
The only nipples that can really be worked with are the hex head ones.
A small mall vise grip holding the spoke and the trying to twist off the
nipple might work, Or you round out the nipple flats trying to turn the
nipples so they're useless or you wind up the spoke and it breaks.
All of these tools are nifty but they are only there to help you snug up the
spokes so you don't have to turn them so much with the spoke tightener.
Once you loosen the spoke spokes a few turns so the wheel is detensioned, if
the spokes are loose enough, then you can turn the nipples out with one of
the nifty tools you are nice enough to picture, to save you lots of time.
Also, those tools only work until the flat edge of the tool can seat itself
in the bottom of the nipple slot, with the little peg as a guide which will
only let the tool seat if you unscrew the spoke far enough to allow these
things to happen.
Hopefully instead of giving you a fish, this will teach how to fish
somewhat.
