Subject: [CR]$400 campagnolo brakes now $455 1977 Super Record Rear Derailleur

I have no empirical evidence to back this up, only anecdotal observances. However, I always thought that 1978 was the transition year for the Super Record rear derailleur. I have a NOS 1978 new version with alloy bolts and a 1978 old version with ti bolts. I'd never seen a 1977 new version until this auction. Perhaps someone has posted about this already. If so, I apologize for the lack of adequate research. BTW, I believe Kauzo was the winning bidder as he was leading before the bidding list black-out and he usually is not out-bid (although I have sniped him a couple of times).

PS: I'm still looking for a late 1970's Campy track wheel-set and Cinelli or 3TTT track stem and bars.

PSS: I agree with Charles, on brakes "Patent" is later. On everything else "Patent" is earlier. Although I have little or no reliable sourcing on which to base this statement. ;-)
