Ladies and Gents, Lest we forget about the other storied bookend of classic vintage bicycle events, the Velo-Rendezvous this year will have a special exhibit of Colnago's 1954 to 1985. I have already started to get my act together on what I'm bringing. My plans so far are to bring
1974 Electric Blue Super 1974 Burnt Orange Super 1978 Lt Met Green Super (I've owned this 26 years!) 1978 OrangeRed Mexico 1980 Sarroni Red Super 1984 Ferrari Red Master Equilaterial w/ 30th Anni Colnago Gruppo 1984 Blood Orange Red Master Equilaterial 1984 Red Chromovelato Profil CX
I will have a nice vintage Colnago Jersey behind each of these as well...it should be quite an event!! Start planning NOW!!!! It will save you from a final week of very late night wrenching and uncontrollable yawning the Sunday of the event! Yawning that you will have to explain as weariness and not that you're unmoved by the presentation of the bike displayed in fron of you!

And don't forget about the Velo Rendezvous event in October 4, 5, 6, & 7, 2007 out here in SoCal: http://www.velo-retro.com/
As Dale once said, it has a unique left coast flavor, or something like that.
