To add to data: Mine has the serial #60484. The frame and the original fork are identical in appearance to one that listmember Jay Vandevelde showed on his website and dated to 1951--Nervex bb shell, plate fork crown, chrome on crown and front tips only, lugs that (I think) are a Nervex pattern with multiple windows, 531 tubing in three main tubes and "JEX" stickers on the fork blades. Provenance: Unknown before 1983 when I picked it up at a Portland, OR garage sale for $25. Mine is now in "urban beater" trim; Jacques Anquetil's ghost snickers at it. David Feldman Vancouver, WA
