Hello Listmembers,

my name is Michele Francesconi and I´ve belonged to the CR list for awhile. I was introduced to it by Ray Dobbins of Florida. I haven´t participated earlier since my major interests in racing bikes lies mainly with off-topic ones it seems. I am situated in Sweden and I have 10 bikes, mostly itallian, in my small collection. Anyway, I have enjoyed reading and learning a lot from you guys on the list and when I saw the mail from member Michael Schmid in Oberammergau in Germany I felt that at last I could contribute with some OT information regarding Moser.

There is a second Moser bike brand in Trento besides Francesco Mosers. This other business started up in 1933 and I think it was a relative, an uncle or something like that who ran the business in the 70ies. That´s what I heard from a friend of mine who imported these frames/bikes to Sweden, he had three models; Sprint (Zeta tubing), an Aelle model and Special (SL tubing). There were also a Pista model and a cyclo-cross model. I had a Special myself and they were very nice riding bikes with many similarities to Pinarellos of the same period.

They are obviously still in business as can be seen here http://www.mosercicli.it/ I also stumbled across a picture of the shop on Flickr some time ago http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=122566227&size=l
