I had the same problem of the cables rubbing and dragging where they passed through the stop body. I replaced the metal ferrules with plastic ones having a tube like extension that passes through the stop hole allowing the cable to pass through without contact. Still smooth even if the cable is misaligned. Had these ferrules left over from QBP cable-housing sets. I don\u2019t know where they can be bought separately, but two sizes came in the sets. Worked for me.
