Hello, I recently acquired what I believe to be an early 80's Serotta-built Huffy Team Crest (as in Crest toothpaste) bicycle.
I am trying to get in touch with someone at Serotta to help me with decoding the serial number. The only telephone number I was able to find on the net was 518-584-1221. It's one of those "follow directions, push buttons, and wait" deals wherein you go around in circles only to find out that the guy you are trying to reach is on his two-hour lunch break.
I did search the 511 archives for Serotta for the requested information but found nothing.
If you know another number that does not require me to jump through hoops to talk to someone I would sure appreciate your help.
