All of this conversation has prompted me to have a look at the older Cinelli I have hanging in my shop.

The serial number is 7194. The metal head badge is screwed on and the screws are 33mm apart. It has all of the original equipment on it and it goes like this: 60cm frame size. Cinelli Steel Bars and stem, Cinelli Headset, Magistrioni hollowed cottered crankset with Simplex chainrings, Campagnolo Grand Sport front and rear derailleurs, Campagnolo low flange 3 piece hubs on wood rims, Campagnolo road pedals, DT shifters, and seatpost, Brooks B17 saddle and Universal side pull brakes.

I may be enticed into selling this bike to the right person.... Contact me off list if you are interested. Or I may bring it to the final Greensboro Cirque this year IF I am in country for all you Cinelli buffs to ogle...

Signing off the right way.
