Not to "steel" anyone's thunder here but my 1975 Nuovo Record-equipped and 531-tubed Condor road bike tips the scales at 19 lbs. I think one reason it's so light is due to its finish--a very thinly applied satin chrome (which also polishes up to supernatural luster).
