Hi,
I have a set of average-condition 1st generation Dura Ace Brakes but they came without wheel guides. I'd like to either purchase (if you have 4x guides to sell), or borrow (i'll pay postage and a small fee) a pair, in order to complete my brake set.
Since these are apparently just bent wire, i was thinking that if I had a live model (just 1 guide), i could use my vice and some baling wire or something similar and maybe a soldering iron or something else to bend my own guides, afterwards dipping them in liquid black rubber to complete the "look" of these guides. If someone knows why this wouldn't work I'd like to hear more, thanx.
