Fellow Listmembers, Check out the following german ebay auction for a Francesco Moser bike.

http://cgi.ebay.de/Klassiker-Francesco-Moser-Rennrad-Raritaet_W0QQitemZ1 10126845401QQihZ001QQcategoryZ9194QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem The seatstay tips are wrap-around style and engraved "John". I doubt that this frame is a Moser. The seller suspects it being a very early model. The decals are from a later model since the first models had stenciled painted markings, also the fork crown is a later cinelli style. I also have never seen a Moser with as Cinelli BB. Does anybody her know more or has ever heard about a framebuilder marking his frames John?
