As announced, the BVVW members convened at the home of Michael Lebron for the family meeting for May 2007. Attending was the usual suspects; Pauley and Rita "Dollface" Lee, Nino Hellman, Johnny "the torch" Coast, Eddie "Prof" Albert, Kenny Bensinger, Milano Matty Bowne, Michael "tubes" Lebron, Stevie "the hip" Klein and one or two other guys I am too tired to remember. Forgive me Godfather.

With the OD on the left coast trying to fix the June Gloom, the family members that could attend, took the Ouija Board out to extend the weather in San Diego til 2009. Prior to the meeting, our host Michael cracked open a few bottles of the grape; Italian Chianti Classico, of course. With our glasses full, the evening's agenda unfolded. First up was small talk about T-Town, the status of the BVVW Jerseys and the 5 boro bike tour.

Matt Bowne then took the Mike and gave a great presentation on the Framebuilders show in San Diego complete with memorable stories and pictures of the bikes and builders. Matty then had to bail and pack for his trip to the old country; Milano, Italia.

Right after Matt, we refilled our glasses and Mike Schmidt gave a presentation on his trip to Bordeaux France to pick up a Rene Herse bicycle at the March family home. Mike even brought the Herse for show & tell. Something we could not do when using The Hartford's boardroom; bring our bikes upstairs. Pictures of this trip are now on Wool Jersey.

By the time Mike wound down his presentation, it was time to eat. The official food of the BVVW was ordered in; Pizza

The next meeting will probably be in June around the time of Cirque. Once again, our thanks to Michael Lebron for being a most gracious host.
