Subject: [CR]campy globe logo gum brake hoods - and Cinelli bolts

Just received three pairs of Robbie Fellow's latest batch of Campy globe logo repro brake hoods. Look very nice, and very supple, so should install on my two early 70's all chrome Paramounts without damage. There are visible seams, but I think there probably were on the originals as well. I guess the truly anal among us can compare the location of the seams on these to the seams on the original, but I don't think I'll spend much time doing that. A big vote of thanks to Robbie for making these available.

And while I'm on the subject of repros, I just received from Fred Durrette a couple of repro Cinelli seatpost bolts. Again, quite nice. Fit well on my 1972 Windsor Pro, but not original, as the bolt the restorer lost was an earlier exposed hex head type, whereas Fred is making the later allen head type. Fred might be willing to make the earlirt type, but he needs a pattern. Anyone have a geniune earlier non-allen Cinelli bolt or acurate reproduction of same that they would lend to Fred as a pattern?

I will offer to pay for two repros by Fred to be provided as a gesture of thanks to any list member kind enough to lend an earlier Cinelli bolt as a pattern.
