Gosh the mention of that word still gives me lock jaw.....luckily I had Girl friends who we good at math. Chainstay length is a pretty meaningless number unless you can figure the angle of said chainstay. I know Pogliaghi used a long stay but at more of an extreme angle. Would the drop measurement always deliver the angle and virtual length?
