Hello Dale,

My guess is that this cycle is from the early 60's. I'm basically going by the head and stem badges. A 50s Cinelli would have a dark blue field on the badges. The very early headbadges were larger (as previously discussed). The headtube lugs are also a dead give away, 50s Cinellis had pointed lugs ala Bianchi. Not sure about the cut-off date, I'm guessing post 1959, maybe we should ask Andrea. The decals are also a means of narrowing down the date. 50s decals had a metalic silver and gold quality to them, decals from the 60s were relatively plain in comparison. I wish that the decal reproducers could accurately duplicate that effect. As many of you know, the Mod Bs had flat crowns, but some early frames had semi-slopping crowns and some were mildly ornate.

It's nearly identical to my silver 1964 Cinelli, except mine does not have the colored Altenburger components and has Sheffield pedals.
