The answer is... "most likely, yes". And if your current chainline is 42mm to 43mm, the answer is yes, for sure. Have you measured your chainline? It's easy to get a precise measurement if you have calipers. (And you must, if you've done all that machining.)

1) Just measure from the far left side of your seat tube to the center of the chainring's teeth.

2) Then measure the diameter of the seat tube and divide the value by 2. Subtract the result from the value obtained in step #1.

If the result is something like 42mm or 43mm, it'steh same as the Pista crankset. For an Italian (70mm) bottom bracket, expect the value to be closer to 43. Best regards, Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia (USA)
